I bring a fabulous homemade percussion station of junk-based instruments (pot and pan station, sonotube drums, paint bucket and water cooler drums, gong station and many homemade shakers, guiros, pot lid cymbals, bamboo claves, etc.) and lead participants in rhythm circles to fit your schedule. Anyone can participate – no drumming experience is necessary! Circles can run 15 minutes to an hour, depending on your event needs, and can start at times specified throughout the day. All of these instruments are creatively crafted and decorated, mostly from materials that that were discarded and destined for the landfill. The Tower of Power Instant! Jam Station is perfect for festivals, school events, parties, even corporate teambuilding! I also offer creative instrument making workshops and can lead groups in discussion about waste reduction and creative reuse!
